August Demo - Panels Show and Tell Circle C Quilting Bee The Circle C Quilting Bee has adopted The Linus Connection as their charity quilting projects. They have turned in many other completed quilts in addition to the one's pictured below. Thank you so much Circle C ladies. We appreciate all of you and your efforts on helping The Linus Connection provide blankets to kids in need!!!

THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who donated items, volunteered, and joined us at our 25th Birthday Bash celebration! It was a huge success! Quilt Challenge Pictures Quilt Challenge Winners Silent Auction Pictures NW Sewing Center hosted a Sew Day and the ladies who joined us made the cutest Scrappy Brick quilt tops, plus we had a few quilts (and a bag of fabric) donated as well! (we'll be doing this again in January!)

Facility Spotlight Austin State Hospital, Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (ASH-CAPS) Bed Capacity: 28 Diagnoses/Mental Health Conditions seen: • ADHD • Depression, Major Depression • Conduct Disorders – Oppositional Defiant Disorder • Substance Use Disorder • Self-injury / harm disorder • Mood Dysregulation Disorder • PTSD from abuse/neglect • Eating disorders • Autism spectrum disorders & IDD We have been delivering blankets to ASH-CAPS since December 2000 when we dropped off 33 blankets. Since that day, we have delivered to ASH 166 times, totaling 4,275 blankets. Thank you!! We received a note from APH Neighborhood Centers which included the following message: “Thank you so much for everything that your ladies do. We had a client come in to get a food pantry box who said that the blanket that we gave them is her son's favorite blanket and won't go anywhere without it. I don't remember the exact blanket but I believe that it had super hero's on it? (don't quote me on that). “ Show and Tell Thank you very much for the Tuna Helper donations!!

Our annual Birthday Bash, Quilt Challenge and Silent Auction is on October 19, 2024 from 9:00 - 11:00 am. It is in the Family Life Center at St. Philip's United Methodist Church in Round Rock, 16321 Great Oaks Dr, Round Rock, TX 78681. Everyone is Welcome to join us! (There will be additional items at the Silent Auction that are not pictured but these pictures capture the majority of the baskets and kits).
