Today's spotlight is Lisa McDermott, our second and final Yarn Challenge Winner.
Lisa made the Modern Rose Afghan pattern from Moogly.
"I found this pattern a couple of years ago when I first started crocheting and was too intimidated to try it. This year for the challenge, I decided 'what the heck, it is a challenge, right?'. The pattern wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and I was very pleased with the outcome. Putting together the blocks was another story! I tried several different techniques before finding one I was happy with! I may try this pattern again without adding the 3D spiral which also looked nice. I love being a part of this organization!"
