Today's spotlight is Audrey Romonosky. Audrey was one of our Pieced Quilt Winners!
Here's what Audrey has to say about her quilt:
The pattern was called Homecoming by Lo & Behold Stitchery.
I had a yard of the lavender batik fabric in my stash, so when I went to the church to pick up my challenge fabric, I asked for purple. When I got home, I looked at the fabric and started to panic because it was all the same hue of purple. On a zoom call with my bee, I spoke of my dilemma and one of my friends suggested the Homecoming pattern. I agreed that it was perfect. I had all the purple I needed to make the quilt. The pattern was straight forward and piecing was easy. I had attended the CTQG Zoom workshop with Catherine Redford in September and practiced her walking foot techniques to quilt the quilt. It was a rewarding and fun experience.
