Drive Through Meeting & Challenge Drop-Off Deadline (October 2020)

Weather permitting on Saturday, October 17, 2020, we will be having a Socially Distant Parking Lot Meeting with limited supplies. Drive-through is an option.

Please remember, if you are or have been sick, PLEASE STAY HOME and take care of yourself. It's okay to hold on to your donations until later and we can get supplies to you another day. Safety first!

To help make this day go as smoothly as possible, please read the information below thoroughly.

Important things to know:
  • If you join us, facemasks and social distancing are required AT ALL TIMES. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be available and must be used between stations.
  • If you prefer to stay in your car, a volunteer can assist you in acquiring supplies.
How it will work:
  1. We will have a drop-off area for Quilt Tops, Pellet Pockets, and Quilts/Blankets Donations.
  2. We are asking that you please continue to bag and label your donations. This makes it easier for us to safely log in your quilts, blankets, and quilt tops. Your printable donation form is here.
  3. There will be car trunks with yarn, fabric, & quilt batting.
  4. All stations will be spread apart for social distancing. Selections at each station can be made in person or by a volunteer. 
  5. Label packets and Pellet Pockets will be available.
  6. All Challenge Quilts & Blankets are DUE Saturday. Please see below for more information.
If you can't make it or you have other questions:
  • If you can't make it to drop off/pick-up, blanket donations are still being accepted at the locations previously mentioned. You can find those here.

2020 Virtual Challenge FINAL REMINDER

Due to the extraordinary circumstances presented by 2020, our Annual Quilt & Yarn Blanket Challenge will be presented right here on our website. In order to make this happen, we will need your help. 

In addition to following the Challenge Rules, we ask that participants:
  • Pin your challenge number to your quilt or blanket making sure it's clearly visible.
  • Take a photo of EACH finished Challenge quilt or blanket. This works best if you have a helper hold up your quilt or blanket or pin or hang it from a fence or similar for pictures.
  • Email pictures to Osie by the deadline listed in the Challenge Rules. Osie will log your finished quilt or yarn blanket and forward your photo to Jennifer for posting on the website.
  • Turn in your Challenge quilts & blankets at the designated drop-off locations (below). Challenge numbers should be removed before turning in. All we need is your photo.
  • DEADLINE - Photos must be received by Osie no later than October 17, 2020. Quilts & blankets should also be turned in as soon as possible. Challenge quilts or blankets turned in without a photo will not be included in the Virtual Challenge, so it is especially important to remember to send Osie your photo.
  • Voting will take place from October 19 to 23, 2020. Viewer's Choice winners to be announced on October 24, 2020. All of that will happen right here on
  • Viewer's Choice prizes to be announced.
