A Message for All Volunteers (also sent out via Yahoo! Group):
St. Philip's, the church where The Linus Connection meets each month, will be gearing up for preschool on the day of our August 19 meeting and our usual space will not be available. We have been offered a room in the small building to the right of where we normally meet.
Because of the limited space, the August 19 meeting will be for Fabric & Yarn Pick-up, Blanket Drop-Off, and Blanket Sorting/Distribution ONLY. Challenge packs will also be available.
There will be no announcements, Show & Tell, or Demo. The August Demo (Simple Applique with Becky) has been rescheduled to September.
If at all possible, please bring your blankets with labels and tags attached as we won't be able to sew them on at the meeting. Unlabeled blankets are welcome, but will not go out until September.
Our September meeting will take place as scheduled.
We're truly sorry for the inconvenience.
