Join us next month on October 18, 2014 for our 10th Annual Challenge & 15th Birthday Celebration!

We will meet at our St. Philip's in Round Rock (our usual location) from 9 - 11. Come for a beautiful outdoor show of blankets made by our volunteers, door prizes, a silent auction, Viewer's Choice winner announcement from our Blanket Challenge and more!

Volunteers, please consider bringing a snack & treats to share with our guests.

Larger Quilts Needed
We have recently experienced a large shortage of larger blankets. Our facilities have a great need for boy and gender neutral quilts and blankets for elementary - high school kids. Blankets and quilt tops in these sizes and colors would be greatly appreciated.

REMINDER: When making quilts for The Linus Connection, please AVOID the following fabrics:

Pieced Quilt Backs
For those of you turning in quilt tops wider than 40" for quilting, please include a pieced back that is at least 4" wider and 4" longer than the top. It helps save our volunteer quilters a lot of time if they do not have to find or piece backs wide enough for the larger tops. Complete blanket specifications are here.

Show And Tell
Blankets were shown and donated on Saturday, September 20, 2014. They are not necessarily being shown by the person that made them. Only a sampling of donated blankets is shown each month.

We encourage you to join us at our monthly meeting and participate in Show and Tell at 10 a.m.
