REMINDER: When making quilts for The Linus Connection, please AVOID the following fabrics:
- Scary, violent or adult images (skeletons, liquor, etc.)
- Religious or Holiday-themed (Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, Halloween, etc.)
Join us for a special WEIGHTED BLANKET Sew Day (see demo below for details).
Bring your sewing machine and we'll provide all materials needed to make Weighted Blankets. We'll be there all day, so consider bringing your lunch. Snacks are also appreciated. Drinks are available for cash purchase at the Stitching Studio.

Pieced Quilt Backs
For those of you turning in quilt tops wider than 40" for quilting, please include a pieced back that is at least 4" wider and 4" longer than the top. It helps save our volunteer quilters a lot of time if they do not have to find backs wide enough for the larger tops. Complete blanket specifications are here.

Monthly Demo
Each month after Show & Tell, we present free, short demonstrations of blanket making techniques to our volunteers.
On Saturday, Stephanie demonstrated how to make weighted blankets. The next Linus Sew Day on September 17, 2014 @ The Stitching Studio will be a Weighted Blanket Work Day.
Show And Tell
Blankets were shown and donated on Saturday, August 16, 2014. They are not necessarily being shown by the person that made them. Only a sampling of donated blankets is shown each month.
