Rekha Nadkarni, a long-time Linus volunteer, passed away June 29, 2013. She donated hundreds of handmade crochet blankets to children in need across Central Texas through her work with our organization. Our hearts go out to her family. She will be missed by one and all.

Annual Challenge
Join us for the 9th Annual Linus Connection Challenge! All volunteers are invited to participate. Challenge packs will be available for sign out after Show & Tell at the June - September meetings. Challenge blankets will be on display at the Annual Birthday Celebration in October. Challenge blankets should follow the usual blanket making guidelines, available here.

Quilting Website Fandom In Stitches' special fundraiser benefiting The Linus Connection raised $778 in donations! Thank you to everyone that participated in this special event and congratulations to pj, the winner of the Fandom For Charity quilt.
Fandom In Stitches offers free fandom-themed quilt patterns designed by fans, for fans. The site is owned by long-time Linus volunteer Jennifer Ofenstein and is not affiliated with The Linus Connection.
Monthly Demo
Each month after Show & Tell, we present free, short demonstrations of blanket making techniques to our volunteers. If you have a fun pattern, some tips or other blanket-making ideas you'd like to share, please email Jennifer.

Show And Tell
Blankets were shown and donated on July 20, 2013. They are not necessarily being shown by the person that made them. Only a sampling of donated blankets is shown each month.
We encourage you to join us at our monthly meeting and participate in Show and Tell at 10 a.m.
