Challenge

The Challenge has commenced! We have a limited supply of Challenge kits this year. If you missed the June meeting and would like a kit, please contact Jennifer. Kits are first come, first served, one per person...when they're gone, they're gone! The rules are a little different this year, so please be sure to read the Challenge guidelines thoroughly!

Upcoming Work Days

Join us at The Stitching Studio for a Linus Work/Sewing Day! We'll be sewing tops and binding, cutting kits, ironing, having finish-your-quilt demos and having a great time with our fellow Linus volunteers!  Quilters, bring your sewing machine and notions. Ironing stations and design walls are provided. Knitters and Crocheters, bring your current Linus blanket. Drop-in or bring your lunch and stay all day! Challenge Kits will be available.

We have fulfilled our requests for Camp quilts for the 2012 season! Thank you to everyone that donates every month and for helping to make camp quilt donations possible!

Blanket Specifications

The Linus Connection has worked closely with our Recipient Facilities over the years to come up with guidelines for making the best blankets possible for the children that receive them. Please take a few minutes to read through the Blanket Specifications and print a copy for yourself. Blanket Specifications include General Blanket Guidelines (sizes, etc.), Quilts, Quilt Tops, Yarn Blanket, and Fleece Blankets.

Hobbs UPC Codes

If you are a quilter or know any quilters, please save your Hobbs batting bags or UPC labels and either bring them to the monthly meeting or mail them to us at The Linus Connection, P.O. Box 29491, Austin, Texas 78755. Please also ask any quilting friends you know to do this as well. We really depend on this batting to fulfill our deliveries each month.

Address Labels

Just a reminder that The Linus Connection has a new address. Please check any paper tie-on labels you might have for the correct address. If they do not show our P.O. Box, you can print out address labels right here to update them. We appreciate your help with this ongoing project!
